Chaya Cooperberg is the vice president, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Progressive Waste Solutions Ltd., the third-largest provider of waste and recycling services in North America. Previously, Chaya held similar positions at The Alderwoods Group, Inc., a leading funeral and cemetery services operator, and Descartes Systems Group, Inc., an inter-listed Canadian logistics software firm.. She has also worked as a journalist for various business publication including Investor’s Digest of Canada and Stockhouse.com. Chaya earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
