Joining NIRI Virtual Chapter’s leadership team offers the opportunity to network with accomplished peers in the IR field, make new friends, enhance your career by learning new skills, and give back to your profession. There’s an opportunity to suit any schedule, from one-time tasks to longer-term responsibilities. If you are interested in becoming a board member, contact us. To find out more about projects and time requirements in a particular area, feel free to contact the committee heads listed on the Board Members page.

Membership Committee

New members are our lifeblood. The Membership Committee helps recruit and manage our membership through email and phone campaigns.

Professional Development Committee

Providing our members with timely, relevant, easy-to-access and low-cost opportunities to hone their professional skills is a key goal of the Virtual Chapter. With members spread across the globe, we use interactive web-based programs, conference calls and social networking as our primary means to connect. Our members can choose from a wide variety of presentations and panel discussions on timely topics and trends, and they can discuss topics in detail on our periodic conference calls.

Marketing & Communications Committee

The Marketing & Communications Committee oversees our website, markets our events and guides the chapter’s social media presence on Twitter and LinkedIn.

Sponsorship Committee

The Sponsorship Committee engages with potential sponsors to showcase the Chapter and highlight the benefits of becoming a sponsor. The committee also works with existing sponsors to ensure they receive a good return on their investment – through increased name recognition and visibility for their services.

Annual Fun Committee

NIRI Virtual is known for throwing memorable events (toga party, 70s themed, to name a few!) at the National Conference each June. Have a knack for planning parties? Put your stamp on the action by joining the Annual Fun Committee.

Advisory Council

Our Advisory Council is comprised of past chapter officers, who share their insights to help us in planning for the future.
